As a Dementia Nurse Practitioner, you will:
- Work closely with the Home Manager and Specialist Dementia Service Lead.
- Manage and support a team of skilled care colleagues.
- Provide therapeutic care to residents with dementia.
- Implement specialist training in positive behaviour approaches.
- Offer de-escalation interventions and safe restrictive practices.
- Collaborate with an Assistant Psychologist for resident wellbeing.
- Ensure the highest standards of care and support.
The ideal Dementia Nurse Practitioner will have:
- Strong background in dementia care.
- Registered Nurse qualification.
- Experience in therapeutic environments.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
