As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will:

  • Conduct blood tests and toxicity assessments.
  • Administer IV and oral chemotherapy.
  • Manage pump disconnections and line care.
  • Provide IM/SC injections and other treatments.
  • Work independently in the community while staying connected with a supportive nursing team.
  • Stay updated with new technologies and therapies in oncology care.

To excel as a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will need:

  • Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN Nurse.
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy.
  • Cannulation and Venepuncture experience.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • SACT Passport or equivalent qualification.
