As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Orthopaedics, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing holistic and evidence-based care throughout the Orthopaedic pathway.
• Working autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Overseeing the patient journey and advocating for patients.

The ideal candidate for the Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Orthopaedics will have:

• A Children's Nursing Qualification – RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration
• At least 5 years post-registration experience in Children’s nursing
• A first degree in nursing or a health-related subject
• A relevant qualification in the specialist area with at least 12 months experience
• A Mentorship qualification
• Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support
• Experience in audit and research relevant to the specialism
• Knowledge of safeguarding processes, with an up-to-date level 3 Safeguarding qualification
• Understanding of clinical governance and managing risk
