As a Clinical Unit Manager, you will:

  • Take responsibility for a specific part of the care home.
  • Deliver the highest level of care.
  • Manage the home in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager.
  • Report and monitor residents' health issues.
  • Administer medication.
  • Ensure resident dignity and wellbeing are prioritised.

The ideal Clinical Unit Manager will:

  • Be a Registered Nurse with a valid PIN number.
  • Have a passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge.
  • Provide support as a practice supervisor and assessor.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Advocate for a person-centred approach to care.
  • Recognise and act on signs of abuse, harm, or neglect.
  • Attend safeguarding training and seek appropriate advice when needed.
