As a Registered Manager, you will:

  • Have autonomy over your own home
  • Manage and develop your team
  • Handle placement requests
  • Work under the leadership of the Responsible Individual to meet the needs of children and young people
  • Maintain professional boundaries
  • Support the holistic needs of the children
  • Implement and review care plans
  • Foster good relationships with team members, management, and external networks
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Standards
  • Lead meetings with staff, directors, and external professionals
  • Report to the Responsible Individual

The ideal Registered Manager will have:

  • Previous OFSTED children's home registration
  • Achieved at least one GOOD OFSTED inspection outcome
  • Level 5 diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Care (or working towards it)
  • Management experience in a children’s residential home
  • A valid driving licence
