They provide specialist care and nursing for babies, children, and young people, ensuring their clinical, emotional, social, and practical needs are met. With a focus on family-centred care, they offer support in various settings, including at home, in the community, and at their state-of-the-art hospice.

As a Children's Nurse you will:

• Provide high-quality, effective patient care in various settings, including the hospice, children's homes, and the community.
• Plan and review care with families to ensure safety and advocate for the child and their family.
• Ensure fun and compassion are integral to the care provided.
• Follow safeguarding policies and maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with all relevant parties.
• Administer medications and maintain nutritional status.
• Keep accurate records and documentation.

The ideal Children's Nurse will have:

• Registration as a Sick Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse (Child Branch).
• Relevant post-qualification experience at Band 5 level.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in palliative care and working with children with complex medical needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
