With recent funding approved in line with the financial year, we’ve been given the green light to recruit Child Protection Social Workers in a well-known Council, and this is a really good time to be joining our agency as we’ve increased our loyalty bonus scheme in a West Midlands area, meaning frontline Roles up to £46 per hour!
The service has 4 teams in which cases are allocated to Social Workers based on there they live to minimise travel. With average caseloads ranging from 15-20 the council will look to reduce this number depending on the different cases you’re holding.
Flexible working is extremely encouraged by the council, with local hubs throughout the county for peace and quiet, senior management have no expectation around having to come to the office x times a week.
OFSTED rated the council’s children services as GOOD last year. This is a service that has massively improved in the last couple of years and senior management are striving for an OUSTANDING rating on next review.

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
