Lead on the floor and supervise the provision of quality care.
Ensure all residents' needs are met, honouring their dignity and individuality.
Work closely with the Registered Manager, and second Deputy, to maintain CQC standards.
Liaise with external agencies and manage care plans.
Deputise for the Home Manager when necessary.
Be responsible for a 28 bedded residential floor.
Package and Benefits: For the Deputy Home Manager role, the package includes:
Annual salary of £34,195 (£13.70 per hour) plus paid breaks.
Full-time position, 48 hours per week, working 4 days from 8am-8pm.
Alternate weekend working.
The ideal Deputy Home Manager candidate will:
Have experience as a Senior or Deputy in a care home setting.
Possess a thorough understanding of CQC regulations, DOLs applications, and Safeguarding policies.
Be an excellent leader and mentor with strong delegation skills.
Be well organised and able to liaise effectively with external agencies.
Have a good knowledge of electronic PCS, EMARS, Medication ordering and booking
