We're currently on the lookout for an experienced safeguarding social worker, to be part of the child and family assessment service at an Ofsted rated good council located in a beautiful offshore destination. 

In this role, you will be allocated S17 work only with the role of completing the Child & Family assessment and progress to closure/Early Help, or passed to another SW if ongoing involvement is needed. 

This is a specialist role to provide added support to other social workers within the CAST service, so experience completing assessments of this nature is desirable.

Leaders in Care are offering a competitive pay rate of £42 p/h for this role, as well as a generous £250 /week accommodation bonus, which more than covers the cost of rent on the Island. You will also have the option of returned ferrys paid for to and from the island weekly, so you have the flexibility to travel home at the weekends should you wish. 

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
